Mike is an operations and IT executive that focuses on identification and execution of broad based operating improvements. He is particularly noted for his ability to implement Lean practices in conjunction with systems. He has held leadership positions at Deloitte Consulting, PRTM Consulting, and Credit Suisse. Additionally, he was a founder of Factory Logic, developing and delivering a groundbreaking Lean software tool. The company was acquired by SAP to serve as the core for their Lean product. He recently founded Kendall Advisors LLC to focus on operations improvement consulting and to develop software tools that support targeted operating improvements such as inventory reduction.
Mike has led numerous multi-year transformations with deep experience in analysis, strategic design, and change execution. Over the last 15 years, he has successfully led conversion to demand-pull operating models, operations turnarounds in distressed situations, and significant merger integrations. These teams ranged in size from hundreds to only a few full time staff. Mike is known for his ability to walk the floor and dig into the financials and operating data to find key issues in a business.
Mike was awarded a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas. His team at Factory Logic was awarded the Shingo Prize and he currently serves as a board member for the Mid Atlantic Region of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME).
